Edukasi dan Pendampingan Pengelolaan Sampah Rumah Tangga Berbasis 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) di TPS Mutiara Ikhlas Kabupaten Tangerang

This community service activity aims to improve public knowledge, awareness, and participation in household waste management through the 3R method (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle) at TPS Mutiara Ikhlas, Tangerang Regency. The program was implemented through a series of activities, including socialization, counseling, training, mentoring, and direct practice in sorting and processing waste. The materials delivered focused on waste classification, environmental impacts of unmanaged household waste, composting of organic waste, and the utilization of inorganic waste into economically valuable products. The activity was enthusiastically attended by community members, indicating strong interest in improving environmental cleanliness and waste management practices. Evaluation results showed an 87% increase in public understanding after the activity. In addition, behavioral changes were observed, particularly in the habit of separating organic and inorganic waste and reusing recyclable materials. Overall, this program had a positive impact on environmental cleanliness, strengthened community cooperation, and supported community empowerment through sustainable and economically beneficial waste management practices at the local level. These outcomes are expected to encourage long-term environmental responsibility among residents.
